Elizabeth Rummel, MA, LLP
Co-Owner/Therapist
Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and psychotherapy field with a bachelors degree in nursing and a masters degree in Marriage and Family Psychology. She provides individual and group psychotherapy for adults with mental health struggles and chronic medical conditions. Her relationship work focuses on ethical non-monogamy and polyamory.
River Farrell, PsyD, LP
Co-Owner/Therapist
River applies their expertise with Acceptance & Commitment Therapy to working with gender and sexual minorities, and with interpersonal relationships through individual, couples, and family therapy.
Anthony Dondero, LMSW
Therapist
Anthony is a Licensed Masters Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He holds a Masters in Social work from Wayne State University. He specializes in working with LGBTQIA and substance use disorder populations, with a particular focus on working with transgender individuals. Anthony has worked as an activist, advocate, and peer educator to trans youth and their families since 2005.
Nick Brooks, MA, TLLP
Therapist
Nick joined Equip Counseling in 2023. He holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Michigan School of Psychology. With a focus on young adults, LGBTQ+, and men's mental health, Nick provides a safe, judgment-free space for self-exploration, healing, and growth.
Jaclyn Bernia, MA, TLLP

Jaclyn joins our team with a Masters of Art in Clinical Psychology. Jaclyn is
focused on working with clients as they navigate the challenges that they encounter in
life. She is passionate about working with trauma, eating disorder, first responders and
the LGBTQIA+ community. She is looking forward to building relationship with clients
that will be a safe place to work through the challenges they are facing.
